We are a global community on a mission to inform, inspire, and empower individuals to give back to the places they call “home away from home."
By bridging travelers with local communities, we aim to foster positive social change around the world.

Our Key Programs

1. Impact Trip

Turn your Bali adventure into a meaningful journey that gives back to the island’s local community. Our Impact Trips are uniquely designed, immersive, short journeys in Bali, Indonesia that combine:

Cultural Immersion: Experience Balinese culture through hands-on activities like making canang (offerings), language exchange with local families, baking classes, etc.
Direct Impact: A portion of each trip’s proceeds supports families or communities that host the activities—covering supplies, skill-building workshops, or direct livelihood support.
Adventure: Explore historic temples, sacred water purification rituals (melukat), and breathtaking rice terraces—all guided by local experts who share their deep cultural insights.

2. Cultural & Social Events

Be part of a community that celebrates cultural immersion, meaningful connections, and fun! We have diverse range of events designed to foster meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and personal well-being. Whether you’re looking to meet like-minded people, immerse yourself in local traditions, or find moments of relaxation, we have something for you in Bali, Indonesia:

Ubud Walk Club – Recharge with a mindful walk through nature

3. Scholarship Program

The goal of the Skillshare with Impact Scholarship Program is to give back to local communities that we call home away from home. We want to support global citizens to learn new skills while at the same time empowering locals to do the same. Scholarships are available for local communities to learn digital skills at an affordable rate, no matter where they are.

Anyone can apply for a scholarship to join one of our self-paced online courses, receiving 80 – 100% financial coverage.

4. Volunteer Matching Program

For Organizations

Fill out the Organization Match Form with the help needed, duration/commitment, etc.
We will send your information to volunteers with the skill sets you need.
If it’s a match, we will put them in touch with you to work out the details and get started!

For Indiviuals

Fill out the Volunteer Matching Form to indicate your skills and the types of organizations you want to help.
Receive an email from Nomads Giving Back! with organizations that match your preferences and need your skills.
Choose the organization you want to help.
Coordinate details directly with the organization (we’ll put you in touch with them), and start volunteering!
