Hospital-Based Volunteer

As a Hospital-Based Volunteer at Kassanda Children’s Aid (KCA), your role will involve providing care and support to vulnerable individuals in healthcare settings, such as orphans, the elderly, people with disabilities, and those affected by illnesses like HIV/AIDS.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting healthcare professionals in providing basic medical care and support to patients.
• Offering companionship and emotional support to patients during their hospital stay.
• Facilitating recreational activities and play sessions for young patients to promote healing and well-being.
• Helping with administrative tasks and record-keeping as needed.
• Collaborating with medical staff to identify and address the specific needs of vulnerable patients.
• Adhering to all hospital rules and safety regulations while carrying out your duties.
