As a Healthcare Volunteer with UNiTED Projects in Kpando, Ghana, you will play a vital role in improving the health and well-being of the local community. Your responsibilities will include various health initiatives and training sessions to empower individuals with knowledge and skills to lead healthier lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting training sessions on general health and hygiene practices for community members.
- Providing basic CPR training to individuals, equipping them with life-saving skills.
- Educating women on important health issues specific to their needs.
- Teaching and providing education on diseases, including HIV/AIDS prevention and management.
- Collaborating with local nurses to enhance their medical knowledge and skills.
- Assisting in organizing health camps and medical outreach programs.
