Your Activity

Visit a local Balinese home and learn how to make your own traditional kite. A local expert will guide you step by step, showing you how to create a kite using natural materials and old techniques that have been passed down for years.

After the workshop, enjoy a peaceful picnic on the beautiful Sanur Beach. Relax with tasty local food, sit on the sand, and take in the calming ocean views. Then, fly your handmade kite on the beach, feeling the wind as it soars above the water. It’s a fun and relaxing way to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and see your hard work come to life!

End the day by flying your handmade kite at the Kite Festival. Watch as colorful kites fill the sky and enjoy the excitement of this traditional Balinese event. It’s a fun way to celebrate and see the creativity of the local culture.

Our Effort for Sustainable Tourism

Using Tourism to Empower Communities

Bali’s 80% source of income, tourism, is undergoing a transformation. While modern attractions overshadow traditional values, our mission is to use Bali’s main industry to preserve it’s cultural heritage and empowering local communities. Through our trips, travelers immerse in authentic experiences, while a portion of the proceeds is reinvested to sustain these traditions and uplift the community.

Promoting Local Craft & Supporting Host Family

By joining this experience, you help promote the traditional craft of kite making and directly support a local Balinese family who welcomes you into their home. The workshop offers them a supportive source of income and an opportunity to share their skills in a respectful and meaningful way. It’s a chance to learn something new while contributing to the continuation of a cultural practice that still holds value in everyday life.
